"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand,

and when ye turn to the left." — Isaiah 30:21  [King James Bible]

What do we offer?

If you want to experience the peace and joy that comes from living a life directed by God’s love, you have come to the right place.  Our Christian Science Society is one of the many world-wide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.

We are located at:
296 West Main Street
Bay Shore, New York  11706

What is Christian Science?

Christian Science is based on the teachings of Jesus.  It is a Christian religion that follows the inspired word of the Bible - both the Old and the

New Testaments -  along with the textbook Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.  Science and Health has its sole foundation in the Bible, and elucidates the timeless principles and guidelines found there.  These two books show how God’s care and goodness can be felt
in everyday life, in practical ways.

You are warmly welcome!

Suffolk County's Health Department has informed our church that we are to continue to suspend all Sunday and Wednesday services, and Reading Room activities until further notice.

* We are closely monitoring all information in this connection, as we look forward to opening our doors once again.  When we are able to do so, we will make that announcement on this web site . *

Until then, you may hear online Christian Science Services on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. EDT and

online Wednesday Testimony Meetings at
2:00 p.m. EDT by going to:  ChristianScience.com.

On the website select: "Online services and events".
We join our prayers with those prayers of our community, our country and the world.

Wherever you are, infinite Love, God, is with you.

"The Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

[Joshua 1:9]

"For God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All."
[Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,

by Mary Baker Eddy,  p. 17]

Every Sunday we host a one-hour service beginning at 10:00 a.m. during which a Bible Lesson presenting a specific subject is read by a

First and Second Reader.

We offer Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. for children and young people up to the age of 20.  Sunday School pupils learn fundamental truths from the Bible, including the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer,

and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.

Our one-hour testimony meetings are held every week at 4:30 p.m.

At these meetings you will hear a short topical reading

from the Bible and Science and Health.  This is followed by attendees individually sharing thanks for the ways in which learning about God's goodness has given their lives more purpose and peace.
